Why We Built This Site
In Georgia, access depends on the kind of record. Rockdale Sheriff's Office creates sheriff reports and booking records; Superior and State Court files show charges and dispositions; and GBI/GCIC maintains the identity-based statewide history. Corrections and registry information use still other systems. We bring the documented request steps, agency contacts, fees, and search routes together while keeping those different record types distinct.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: how to reach Rockdale Sheriff's Records Unit, the courthouse divisions, and Georgia's statewide systems
- Record guides: how to search and interpret Rockdale court cases
- Record restriction guidance: the distinct routes Georgia uses for eligible arrest information and court-file sealing
- Official-check explanations: the differences among Georgia Felon Search, GCIC history access, and GAPS fingerprint processing
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Georgia court, police department, sheriff's office, or state agency. Those boundaries mean:
- Certified court documents, histories, and other official copies cannot be issued here
- We cannot submit a records request, record-restriction application, or court filing for a visitor
- No official criminal-history check can be run through this site
- We cannot advise anyone how a particular charge, warrant, or case affects them
- Agency hours, addresses, procedures, and charges must be confirmed before relying on them
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the Rockdale Clerk, Sheriff's Office, or GBI/GCIC. This guide can identify that custodian, but it cannot supply the document.
Search Partners
Third-party companies operate search boxes appearing on some pages and control their own results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports the site. We neither set those charges nor determine what a partner reports.
